Our experience of working with clients healing after betrayal has taught us that processing the losses associated with betrayal is best done in a safe and supportive community. As such, we would like to invite you to a first of it's kind, online, betrayal grief retreat.

At WholeHearted we have always worked to reduce barriers to good quality support, those social and financial restrictions that prevent people from accessing the resources that they need. As such, much of our work has been online, and we are delighted to expand that offering to include our online grief retreat, an opportunity for betrayed partners from around the world to come together and find safe community, within which to enter a process of mourning their losses and gently processing their feelings of grief.

This online retreat will provide guided and structured opportunities to engage in communal expressions of grief and mourning, designed to facilitate the processing and releasing of grief. We will explore the meaning of your losses and what hope for the future might look like.

Each day at this online grief retreat we will invite you to participate in exercises that engage you in a process of mourning the losses associated with betrayal. Each session will facilitate exploration and expression of grief and loss, in the context of a supportive community of women.

We will begin each day with a check in and opportunities to reflect on the previous day, and will end with time to process the day's work and check out. While there will be some flexibility as we seek to meet the needs of the clients at the retreat, our schedule will be based on the below:

Day 1: Unmasking Grief - Exploring the Face of Grief

Day 2: Mapping the Grief Journey - Exploring the Route To and Through Mourning

Day 3: Learning to Lament - How to Facilitate the Cry of the Broken Heart

Day 4: Grief Releasing - Using Symbolism to Honour Your Losses and Create Space for Hope

We will provide you with a list of everything you will need to fully participate in the activities.
