THE STORY OF US

A COUPLES INTENSIVE

A therapeutic weekend for couples navigating recovery after sexual betrayal

Friday July 4th – Sunday July 6th

Please Note: Spaces are limited to 6 Couples and the cost is £1500

This in-person retreat is for couples who are recovering from the impact of betrayal - whether through pornography use, infidelity, or compulsive sexual behaviour - and who are ready to move beyond crisis and engage in the deeper work of relational healing.

If you've made progress in early recovery, and you're no longer stuck in the constant chaos of triggers and dysregulation, you may now be wondering Where do we go from here?

This intensive is designed to help you begin answering that question.

The full cost for this weekend intensive is £1500.

Who Is It For?

This retreat is ideal for couples who:

  • Are no longer in the immediate aftermath of discovery or disclosure
  • Have begun stabilising and can self-regulate emotionally some of the time
  • Are open to engaging with deeper emotional work around grief, intimacy and meaning
  • Want to reconnect, or discern what moving forward together might look like
  • Are ready to do the hard work - instead of avoiding it

You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to show up, reflect honestly, and engage with curiosity and courage.

What To Expect

Led by a team of deeply empathetic and skilled facilitators, this intensive blends support, couple-focused sessions, and individual reflection.

Over the course of the weekend, you will:

  • Reflect on your journey so far - as individuals and as a couple
  • Name and honour the losses betrayal has created
  • Gain practical tools for engaging difficult conversations safely
  • Begin building a shared understanding of the past
  • Experience a felt sense of connection - even in the midst of grief
  • Clarify what healing could look like, and what's needed to pursue it

The retreat is held in a small group setting with other couples on similar journeys. You'll find not only expert guidance, but also a sense of solidarity and shared hope. The space is emotionally safe, non-judgmental and trauma- informed.

This isn't a quick fix - but it can be a powerful turning point!

You may not leave with every question answered, but you'll leave with clarity about what still needs work, and how to engage it with integrity, intention, and care.

This is an invitation to move from "my story" and "your story" to a deeper, truer story of us

What past participants are saying:

"We were in such a stuck place before the retreat...We left with clarity, connection and a real understanding of what healing together could look like"

"This weekend gave us practical tools to handle the hardest parts of our story with compassion and courage"

"We felt stuck in our relationship. This experience helped us reconnect and see a path forward - together"

Where will it be held?

The retreat will be held at our venue in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Please note: Accommodation and food are not included in the cost of this intensive and will need to be arranged separately.
